I sit here today reminiscing about the time when I first came across the world of art. It all started with the opening of a small framers shop. Later the artistic streak in my personality and my passion for art led me to open a gallery of my own. This was seven years ago. Being a novice in the field I let my ideas flow and conceived the shape of a modern gallery. The experience that I gained over the passing years made me realize that simply opening a gallery was not enough to satisfy me, for there was much more to it than just displaying a few pieces of art in a certain manner – a lot more needed to be done.

My concerns led me to reach out to various artists and friends who became part of this arena and from whom I received tremendous support and encouragement. To my content there was a surge of ideas, suggestions and the much-needed professional advice. In addition to this, my visit to art centers across the globe proved to be a source of inspiration and motivated me to move on with more vigor and determination. Therefore, I decided to establish a gallery with a more professional and artistic outlook that was to project art in its true sense. This time attention was given to the minutest of details which would establish a state of the art gallery. This required the gallery to be moved to a more suitable space. The interior too required a mood that would compliment the artwork. The idea was to draw the viewer into a different world providing esthetic pleasure and intellectual fulfillment, inviting one to marvel at the artistic appeal that is now enhanced in the new gallery softly lit ambience. The pieces on display are sure to tempt any connoisseur, as the beauty of art comes to life in a myriad of forms.

Today, as the members of the past superimpose the present I realize how far I have come, beginning from a small framers shop to trying to make a gallery that in itself is a wonderful celebration of art. This effort would not have been possible without the help and support of my friends, artists and my team here at the gallery. I take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude to all individuals who have guided me in this journey.
