Brishna Amin Khan

Brishna Amin Khan is a Lahore based artist. She completed her degree in visual arts from NCA in 2019 with a major in miniature painting. During the summers Brishna live in her Murree apartment and witnessed the negative effects of climate change on nature and links our society’s attitude toward nature with their attitude to each other. She confronts these issues by creating serene images of nature that is under threat to create a sense of loss while staying true to the traditional style of miniature painting. During her 2nd year in NCA She exhibited her skill in miniature painting in a group show titled Forty-One in Zahoor-ul-Akhlaq Gallery Lahore. From then on, she participated in other shows such as an ode to parallel reality III a performance art peace by Ma’am Natasha Jozi in Taseer Art Gallery and the MAKTAB project curated by Sir Imran Qureshi as part of Lahore Biennale 01.
